Pam's Textured Preemie Afghan

Here's a picture of my started project.......have 15 rows here. Will post another picture of the completed project when it's done. This model is done in Red Heart Soft Baby. The color is Laddie.

MATERIALS:

Size "H" crochet hook
3 ply sport weight/baby yarn

Directions:

Chain 64

Row 1: DC in 4th chain from hook and in each remaining ch across.

Row 2: Ch 3, turn. DC in next 4 dc, *(fpdc in next dc, dc in next 3 dc)13 times. Fpdc in next dc, dc in each of next 5 dc.

Row 3: Ch 3, turn. DC in next 4 dc, (bpdc in next fpdc, dc in next 3 dc) 13 times. Bpdc in next dc, dc in next 5 dc.

Repeat rows 2 and 3 until blanket measures desired length.

Last Row: Ch 3, turn. DC in each stitch across. Fasten off and weave in ends.

Can add any border of choice to this blanket or leave it plain.
